RETAIL TRAINING SPECIALIST FOR SONOS!

We at WorkShop are now looking for an enthusiastic Retail Training Specialist for Sonos to support and deliver retail training programs across the Americas region. Do you have a passion for retail, people and digital and physical training? Do you have previous experience in project management and initiating and running retail engagement program and events? The position:
This role is focused on providing high-quality, engaging training experiences that help our retail partners better understand and sell Sonos products. You will work closely with the Global Training Manager and local retail teams to deliver both online and in-person training, ensuring retail associates feel confident and equipped to represent the Sonos brand. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about training, presenting, and engaging with people in both digital and physical retail environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver Training: Facilitate engaging online and in-person training sessions for retail partners (US & Canada) including Best Buy, Costco, Walmart, and Amazon
- Training Support: Assist in adapting and localizing global training content for the Americas market
- LMS Support: Help manage and upload content to Learning Management Systems (LMS), track engagement, and provide feedback on learner participation
- Community Engagement: Support digital engagement initiatives that connect and motivate retail sales associates through app-based learning platforms
- Live Events: Assist in planning and running live training events, workshops, and tradeshows, including setting up demos and supporting interactive sessions
- Feedback & Reporting: Collect feedback from participants, track training attendance, and share insights with the Global Training Manager to continuously improve programs
- Collaboration: Work with retail marketing and regional retail leaders to ensure training aligns with current campaigns and initiatives
- Employee Programs: Support the employee purchase program, ensuring updates for new products and awareness across retail partners
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years’ experience in retail training, retail sales, or learning & development
- Experience presenting or delivering training to groups (online or in person)
- Familiarity with retail operations at national retailers (Best Buy, Costco, Walmart, Amazon) a plus
- Comfortable using or learning LMS (e.g., Halight, Atobi)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Organized with attention to detail; able to manage multiple training sessions and tasks at once
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs during event setup
- Willingness to travel up to 25-30% of the time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Placement: Hybrid remote (preferably East Coast)
Start: As soon as possible or according to agreement
Working hours: Full time, ongoing with probation period
