Workshop is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join us as an Area Sales Manager for our client SquareTrade in Oslo. SquareTrade is a leading InsurTech company in Europe who provides exceptional consumer electronics insurance services.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our sales operations across the region. You will have the opportunity to dive into a wide range of tasks, ensuring that no two days are alike.
Responsibilities:
As Area Sales Manager your role will be instrumental in driving the success and achievement of your region’s performance targets and strategic key performance indicators (KPIs). You will serve as a key liaison, delivering market insights on the region's biggest retailers to stakeholders within SquareTrade and their partners, following a defined cadence.
As an Area Sales Manager for SquareTrade, you'll put a lot of focus on connecting with SquareTrade's retailers in your district. You do this through store visits and sales promotion activities. You will be responsible for achieving set goals and optimizing sales but also increasing visibility and awareness of SquareTrade on the market. You will also:
- Build long-term relationships within your sales territory by creating partnerships focused on key retail leaders and internal partners
- Take ownership and manage the planning and execution of engagement and training activities
- Drive sales of SquareTrade's insurance services to the stores and train store staff on how to sell an insurance product
- Work across departments to contribute to process improvements and optimizations to increase sales in your region
- Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for the regional store managers and department managers regarding, ensuring seamless communication and relationship management
- Monitor and analyze marketplace performance metrics, identifying trends and generating actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in retail marketplaces
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other Area Sales Managers to ensure marketplace activities are aligned with overall business goals and objectives, fostering synergy and maximizing outcomes
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the retail and consumer electronics industry
- Proven leadership experience, ideally in store management, with a focus on consumer training and coaching
- Experience of product training for large groups
- Possibility to travel occasionally regionally, nationally and international travels
- Track record of monitoring and following up on KPI performance
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Valid drivers license

Working Hours: Full time, with planned deviations, inc. 6-month probation period
