TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER TO SAMSUNG
Samsung is now looking for a Technical Account Manager for the IM B2B (Mobile Division, Business Sales) team in Oslo, Norway. As Technical Account Manager you will be responsible for developing solutions for new and existing customers in Samsung’s service portfolio within Enterprise Mobility Management, Samsung Knox. In cooperation with the B2B sales team, you will actively take part of and being responsible in securing growth and reach revenue targets. In Norway and Nordics, we are a relatively small sales and marketing organization and you will get to work with a group of like-minded fun, technology-oriented and devoted professionals.
What will you do?
- Localize Samsung Enterprise Mobility Management solutions for B2B partners and customers
- Collaborate with sales team as technical expert in customer meetings & presentations
- Respond to RFI’s (Requests for Information) or RFP’s (Requests for Proposals) from customers, supplying the technical details of proposed solutions
- Perform technical trainings and webinars to partners, customers and internal functions
- Coordinate closely with sales, marketing, product management, Nordic pre-sale colleagues and post-sales to align solution design with customers’ business requirements
- Analyze and report sales of licenses
What qualities should you have in order to master the position?
Our current Account Managers are all – of course – unique individuals with different backgrounds, personalities and working styles. However, we do think that in order to enjoy the work you should share our passion for technology, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player. Furthermore, all of our Account Managers have strong social skills, integrity and professionalism. A few other personal qualities we think are especially important in this role include:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical and structured approach to duties at hand
- Hardworking, high team spirit and strong drive to reach Samsung’s goals and targets
- Understanding and interest in technical issues
- Calculation and understanding on return of total customer investment
There are also some more technical requirements we expect you to have, such as:
- 1-3 years work experience with EMM (Enterprise Mobility Management) is desired
- Advanced user of Excel, since you need to drive customer and market analysis and planning
- Market knowledge of our customers’ products, markets and their requirements
- Previous sales work experience from generating business, budget follow-up and product forecasting within retail or telecom operator
- Fluent in English and Norwegian
- Have a valid drivers license
